The Sabbat of Yule (Winter Solstice) represents the rebirth of light in the midst of greatest darkness. The Goddess gives birth to the Sun God, springing forth new hope for the year to come. Welcoming back the sun and its warmth to Gaia not only brings light to the land but also to every sentient being living upon her. The Winter Solstice universally symbolizes hope, rebirth, and the triumph of light over darkness. Within sacred space we will express gratitude for the times the Light has indeed brought rebirth.
