How do you connect with an ascended master? You begin with setting aside a time each day to foster a connection. It is advised to work begin with one you are already familiar with or one with qualities you wish to embody such as Kuan Yin Ascended Master of Love, Compassion and Forgiveness.
Dedicating a space for spiritual work not only gives you much needed privacy but it will be a space where spiritual energy will build in strength. The space you use can be a spare or unused room, an outdoor studio or a sheltered part of your garden or if space is limited use a corner of a room. Think about spiritual hygiene - dust, untidiness or clutter and stale air impede the flow of spiritual energy.
To learn about one or more Ascended Master/s. Become more familiar with them by the energy they represent. Each Ascended Master resides in a sacred place on the planet – learn about this place and it will bring you closer to them. If you have an alter or a small table you might have a picture or figurine of an Ascended Master or candles, crystals or flowers that are dedicated to the Ascended Masters energy. Read about their legends and the many personal accounts that have been published.
Begin with intention. Before you begin ground, centre, clear and protect your energy. Say a prayer, or invocation – what you feel comfortable saying, asking the Ascended master to come forward to work with you.
Pay attention to what you sense, feel, hear, know, smell, taste. If you aren't visual to see an Ascended Master or unbale to hear them at this point in time, you may feel warm, or energised. You may feel like you are embraced with loving arms or wings! You might smell roses or the forest. These feelings and other sensory signs enable you to recognise the Ascended Master you are connecting to.
Continue to call in the same Ascended Master until you are confident with what you are receiving resonates and you are confident of your connection with them. As your awareness develops be prepared to be tested in pushing your development even further as your frequency increases.
When you are ready, over time another Guide/Ascended Master or other Spirit Helpers will present themselves to you - usually through your Master Guide. Trust the process and allow yourself to develop your awareness slowly.
As you learn more about the Ascended Masters, you can ask them to assist with personal issues as well as global and planetary disasters. While they are all around us and here to help us, we need to ask for their assistance. When you hear of such disasters you can call on these powerful allies to go to the affected areas to help.
Ascended Masters can’t just get in and help – they require us to call on them for their assistance. If you do not know to whom to focus your attention, focus on what represents the Divine for you. Each Ascended Master (and there are many) will have their own spiritual associations and energies to assist your connections with them.
Ascended Master Kwan Yin
Also known as: Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Avalokiteśvara, Goddess of Compassion and the Bodhisattva of Mercy. Ascended Master Kwan Yin is a Master on the Third Ray, the pink ray of unconditional love.
Kwan Yin is a warrior Master, she will help you fight external and internal battles. She is known as a great healer and works with healers to mainly heal the emotional body. She comes to help us with our internal battles – the ones we fight within ourselves. She will help you clear your emotional baggage.
In China, Kwan Yin is known as the Goddess of Mercy, the embodiment of compassionate, loving kindness, “She who harkens to the cries of the world.” She carries the same connotations as our Mother Mary, Isis, Shakti, Paravati, Radha or Sita. She is perhaps one of the most common “eastern icons” to be found on the market (besides Buddha, of course).
Legend says that Kwan Yin is a bodhisattva, or “enlightened one”, but she took a vow to not enter heaven until everyone of us becomes enlightened. Basically, helping all other souls through their journey in this life and onto the next. Kwan Yin is often depicted with one or more dragons, which are an ancient symbol for wisdom, high spirituality, strength & divine power of transformation as well the lotus and swan.
